Yesterday I did refer Comodo Internet Security in 2 forums. Also i talk to a few people and they promiss to try Comodo Internet Security Complete 2011. Good luck to every Comodo fan.

Although I new to this forum, I am not new to Comodo products.  I made the switch from Grisoft's AVG line to Comodo about 5 years ago.  I was with AVG off and on since the AVG Free Antivirus 1.0 until 8.5, then I started to read very good reviews about your company and the Internet Suite (complete solution) that you offered for "free".  I made the switch to your free Internet Suite for various version of Windows.  I currently have in my own home about 6 computers (the quantity grows and shrinks occasionally), 3 laptops, one netbook, one Mac Powerbook Pro (can't count that one for Comodo) and one pure Linux laptop.

I am a retired computer / network engineer that has been in a VERY paranoid security environment for over 40 years.  So when it comes to "security" there is no such thing as "too much" security.  I was impressed by the level of security offered even by your "free" products, I would even describe this healthy security as "paranoid".  Paranoid in my mind is a very good thing.

Even though I am "mostly" retired from my computer career, friends, family and anyone that knows my background always bring their computer woes to my doorstep. There really is no escaping is there?  Most are clueless about bugs, viruses, worms, Trogans and malware in general, they just know that there computer is either "not working anymore" or "doing very strange things" that it didn't do yesterday.

Just some background about myself and how I spread the "good word" about your very line of solutions to most of my "clients".  Every computer that I fix or de-bug if it is either not running any sort of malware protection product or the product has not been keep up to date because of cost concerns, I recommend to the user your excellent, all inclusive, free Internet Suite without hesitation.  I always try to educate, as well as install your suite, as it has a higher learning curve than other products.  I explain this necessary learning effort on the user's part by pointing out the virtues and depths of the individuals modules that make up your Internet Suite.  I explain that Comodo Internet Suite is through, paranoid through!  And they will have to be prepare for "alerts", some decision making, and initially a little inconvenience.

Most, after having just gone through a "traumatic" experience with their computer become "believers".
So I do my best to spread the name of your excellent product far and wide and I would estimate in an average year I fix 200 to 300 systems (not all of the results of infection), good thing I'm retired, right?

I do a lot of free volunteer support as well, I support 10-12 systems here locally at our "Habitat for Humanity" organization.  They are a small branch so appreciate free help and cost saving products when ever possible, as long as "free" doesn't mean of less quality.  I also support a very small computer lab 6-10 computers in a Franciscan (Christian) Mission Center than provide after school homework support for section of the migrate worker's children population.  Again, I have retired to small town with a small tax base so volunteer, free are always welcomes words.  All of these computers have been switched over from a yearly fee based Symantc product to your Internet Suite.

In all fairness, I also recommend running another program along side of yours, it is called "ThreatFire".  I told you I was paranoid!  I have found that both program live happily together, both have low resource requirements (compare to many other popular programs), and I feel better leaving my mostly "clueless" clients with all of the help I can give them while they are surfing the Internet.

Keep up the great work, I have also received so great advice from this forum in the short time that I have been a member.  I will continue to recommend and install your products of every system I find "unprotected".  I apologize for the length of this post, but I warned you that I was "retired" and have time on my hands.

Yes but not on this topic. I did Tai Chi for almost 5 years until 2002. It was one of the Yang variations. Sometimes it sneaks from the back of my head to consider to start with it again as it surely improved the quality of my moving (never was a star at gym back in school.... ).

It is a suite with Firewall, H.I.P.S. (Defense +) and an antivirus/antispyware scanner. The installer allows you to subscribe to Comodo DNS servers as an extra layer of security.

The AV does not have socalled shields like webshield, email shield, IM shield, p2p shield,etc. It is Comodo's point of view that shields only add overhead (they make a system less responsiveness); it is still timely enough when a malware gets caught when it gets loaded in memory or written to disk.
