Is to tell you that your forums are being used to send porn spam.  I've blacklisted your network till you have a chance to clean it up.

I sent a PM to Melih, but if he's even semi-normal, he's out enjoying the day.

It looks very bad when a company network is used as a launchpoint for any spam.  Porn spam is even more of a black mark.

I would imagine that they were targetted mostly because they supply anti-spam software.

Melih is here so I guess he isn't normal Grin Just kidding Melih, but please do something to stop this in the future! Make more moderators, limit posts, I don't care what you do just please do something. I don't want to have to leave like I did on the Kubuntu forums.

Best help you can give me now - is to explain how he (Dean Kelly) got my email address and how I can stop him sending these pornographic emails.  I really resent a security site allowing their members to be attacked this way.

Don't worry he (or they) didn't get your email address. You were emailed because the Kelly user sent them as personal messages (or PMs) & you've set the forum to notify you (by email) when you get a PM. Thus, the forum sent you the email, not the Kelly user.

When you register to the forum, you put your email address there. You can choose for that email address to be not viewable.

I wish we built this Forum Software, it would be much safer, but we have to work with whats available -)

Is it possible that Comodo begins making the forum software and switches over eventually?

I agree with Melih that Comodo should concentrate on building its product. But please, just try to do something with these spammers.

I agree, and I think the spammers are gone for now, they have been banned by IP, and they don't seem to have come back.

Amateur spammers? It's not like spammers to use a real IP.
