I have a simple question: is still safe to use the processguard? is it workable, safe and clean? Is it protecting all right? what happened to the cs diamond ? he suddenly reemerged or resuscitaded to work again. perhaps it's a second chance. whom knows about it? best regards.

Hi old mates,

just wanted to let you know that the DCS company seems to be back with their site.

There seem to be a few new programs as well. I've not touched them yet...

Now the version number of PG reads 3.500 (instead of last official 3.410 from 2006)

A few questions (at least), though:

Is it still Wayne who runs the company? (If not, can it be trusted?)

Is this PG version really an updated version?

Is there a chance that DCS products will ever be as good again, as they've been a long, long time (3 years) ago?

Cheers

hi,MorphOS REBOL,
I wouldn't take a risk again. I lost my confidence on it. I didn't trust it anylonger! its like marriage if you don't rely on each other anymore, it's better to be apart. best regards.

Yes, it's true:

Their site is up again, they're still promoting PG ("new version").

There's even a new prog (DSE), which I won't test.

Even though I would never try the "updated" PG,
many friends of mine are still using the last known real free version I posted above, and they never caught any malware...

Wonder why? It certainly WAS a good an' strong prog, and maybe still is...

Just don't ever use the update function...

All said and done.

Cheers

The REBOL.

So, if Defense+  does the same thing as ProcessGuard did, Comodo is a known solid company, and DCS is sketchy at best, it's a no brainer to me.
