Hi!

I am using Comodo Firewall V3 for a few days ( I have used V2 in the past) and I am loving it, the way it works, the way you from staff helps the users without any charge, the patience that both members, staff and moderators have, and the philosophy that permeates all Comodo Group work. Really, Comodo is a great company, and offers excelent software and support.

I would like to help through some way. I am beginning a blog in a blog's network, about opensource software, information security and technology, and would like to know if can I put some Comodo banners and logos there, linking to download page here at Comodo website.

I also would like to know if can I make some "reviews" of Comodo's products, by the way that the visitors can take knowledgement of the excelent products ofered.

I would like to help in Comodo translation to portuguese, if possible.

Can I do these things?  Smiley

P.S.: please, sorry if my english is not perfect of clear.  Embarrassed

Hello Melih,

Thank you for your kindly words.

Sure, I will post the url of my blog when ready. Smiley

I think in begin a series of Comodo's products reviews, always linking to comodo website/download pages. I think that this is the minimum I can do to thank and help a company that offers so useful and great softwares without charge anything for it.  (B)

Regarding translation to portuguese-br (and for another languages, of course), I think that it is a very important point to Comodo spread the world. Is it possible at the moment? If so, how can we/I work on it?

Best Regars.

Ok what exactly are we trying to do in this topic?
We are trying to come up with ideas that our users can implement.

For example:

I just posted link to your website on my messenger. I am sure someone will give it a try.

have a nice time guys

1)sending an email to friends and family (in your address book) explaining to them about Comodo Free Desktop products (CPF, CAV, Backup, Ivault, VE, Free email certs) and inviting them to try it because you are using it and you recommend it

2)Schools and Universities usually don't have much money to spend, so informing your local schools and Universities for them to start utilising Comodo Desktop Products. They will even be grateful for the introduction :-)

3)Ask your local shop to spread the word to their shoppers.

4)Respond to any news article or blog sites in the field of security explaining Comodo products and why you use them and why they should write about it.

5) Finding download sites that talk about Comodo Desktop Security products and contribute by telling them what you think about Comodo  products by submitting your feedback. (eg: http://www.download.com/Comodo-Personal-Firewall/3640-10435_4-10523990.html?tag=tab_ur)

6)Running Naked with "Comodo Secured my PC" Tattood on your body thru the city you live in. I can see some disadvantages with this particular method and would not recommend you to try this as Tattoing might be painful :-)

7)Any other ideas pls?

thanks

Comodo is the best firewall that i have ever used, better than Norton or any of the other firewalls you have to pay for.

Keep up the good work.

Ps i have passed you on to all my friends ,and family, and they have all joined

I can't say enough good things about the FREE Comodo firewall.  I have had absolutely no problem with it and I'm a computer nerd.  I don't want to learn more than I have to know to do what I want to do with my PC.  Comodo doesn't require a learning curve.  Download it and move on.  I've poked around in it a little just to see what was there and there are lots of options that can be played with but they aren't required to be used.
THANK YOU, Comodo.

I am bitting my tonge to don't flame an user that gave a bad review to Comodo Firewall Pro at Cnet...

CFP is the best firewall I have used, it really "understand" the end user (not like others that just block things they think the user should not be using).

However, it seems many people just install the firewall, and keep the security level at "Safe", and they get a lot of messages from Defense+, then they uninstall, and write a bad review... Maybe you should consider to put more info about how to configure the firewall the first days, while it learns about the installed applications in the computer.
I know that info is in this forum, but most people doesn't read them, or maybe they doesn't even know there is a forum...

Melih,

I am in the very start stages of creating a new NEWS option for a massive market of people that up to now have not had NEWS coverage, and access... The world of Disabled People.

I am just now setting up a free forum for this. I have one of a few ideas that could work well for you, and me.
1- I can do the normal post a link to you, and say I use COMODO. This is the expected norm. And, is ok at best.

2- The unexpected: If your willing to host a forum for me: Instead of the expected Sponsorship payment idea, instead how hosting my DNews.com or Or DNWorld.com or DNW.com if ( any one that is available) not sure what is available. They represent Disability News, and Disability News World a news source made by the disabled and for the disabled. And, maybe you can even promote the fact you Sponsor this good work effort. The hosting the site for me would be the sponsership, and allow me to run it as I would on a free forum site. Also, it can have this liitle Comodo Authentic & Secure logo in the lower right hand corner... Getting people to notice it more. Smiley

This provides you with a new market of people, a new marketing tool for you to maybe think about.

The idea is to provide news, but to also also allow people report in as well with news that they covered, allowing a bigger area of coverage. At the same time will be forums, blogs, and other user resources to make the site worth a visit.

Well I put it out so you can laugh if you like, or think it over. I feel it will be a win/win for both of us and, introduce the word of abled people to the world of the disabled in a way never seen before.

Spinergy

PS: I know your not in the hosting business... However, the news business does not include the Disabled people of the world... Imagine being on the ground floor of this should it take off... Smiley Plus I love COMODO products.

COMODO - amd your cyber world does party!

I'm using COMODO now less than 24 hours - (familiar with some alike features of ZA) - therefore quite easy to get a grip on the COMODO features I like to state, that COMODO is up to now the best anti virus tool I know of (and I'm used to run PCs now since Feb.1991, quite some av-software passing by and off. COMODO beats 'em all, is very fast in executing its task,  through and consequent which provides the users trust and confidence. I'm absolutely taken by COMODO and its efficiency (I just could wish having known COMODO some years way back).
For that reason I by conviction shall recommend COMODO via email footer as well urge at my job's website to run a recommendation for this superb anti virus application. COMODO is for keeps (since I just love to have trustworthy friends  at my site.)
