I'd have to see more of the pcap file, to see the full flow of the transaction.  I've had to do a fair amount of analysis on Wireshark output files, so I might be able to get a better understanding with more data.

Matty, if you want me to see what I can figure out on it, PM me (since you probably don't want to post the entire file on a public forum).

There is a good chance that the problem is with Comodo's servers.
If memory serves me correctly, this usually happens around the time an update is released.
After a while things should be back to normal.
All IMHO of course.

All I get is result Error for all of them. Submitting a file also fails with a timeout error. This is with the latest Comodo release...

Any ideas? We are NATed going out to the net. Could CFP be silently blocking something of it's own here in the default config?

I know there've been some DNS resolution issues reported for BOC updates; I'm with Mike that it's a problem on the other end.  They're constantly trying to make changes to their config so as to support the continuing load from the growing # of users; the speed of this process makes problems more likely.

I'm sure it'll be ironed out soon.  The other thing to check (as has been mentioned many times in the past) is to make sure that Internet Explorer is not set to Offline; it must be set to Online, even if it's not actively running.  Last I knew Comodo's apps borrow IE's connectivity settings; if it's set in Offline mode they won't connect.
