i can't get cpf to install correctly on my server.

i am running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 2 on a dell poweredge.

i am using CFP v 2.4.18.184

i have completed the installation without entering an email address

when i restart the server i get a Service Control Manager alert telling me that "at least one service or driver failed during system startup"

when i log in, i get the messages telling me that "network Monitor is not active. reinstalling the application may fix the problem." i get the same error for the Application monitor and the component monitor.

looking through event log and the CmdMon driver failed to load.

i have uninstalled and reinstalled in normal mode and in safe mode and get the same errors. i have used two different exe files and got the same errors.

could someone please help me get the software installed correctly?

thanks

i used the same exe file to install cpf on a W2K pc and it has worked fine, so i don't think there's a problem with the downloaded exe file.

i have also noticed that on my 2003 server the file CmdMon.sys is not in the c:\windows\system32\drivers folder. i'm assuming this is a problem?

could someone let me know if i'm likely to receive any help with this issue, as it's been 5 days.

if i'm unlikely to get any support then i'll need to remove the software and look at somethig else.

thanks

I have the same problem with 2003 SP2.  If you can install comodo before you install SP2 everything should work as intended.  I was hoping for a better solution but this is the only one I've found that works so far.

seeing as i got ZERO help from any of the support staff on here, i contacted the company directly and spoke to one of the product managers. I was told "We do not currently support Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. This is however on our product roadmap."

may help anyone who was in the same situation as me.
