I have only been testing this firewall for a couple of days, so it could be me that's causing the following problem   Grin

After the initial installation the following were automatically configured:

Realtek Fast Ethernet Adapter  192.168.1.0-192.168.1.255
VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet1  192.168.160.0-192.168.160.255
VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet8  192.168.87.0-192.168.87.255

This all worked correctly.  I wasn't able to access shared folders on another machine so I added this zone:

Zone Name:  Machine #3
Start Range: 192.168.1.100 (the address of the other machine)
End Range:  192.168.1.100

I then went to the Add a Trusted Zone Wizard, but on the second page when asked to "Please select a Zone from the list below" the drop-down list showed:

Realtek Fast Ethernet Adapter 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.255
Machine #3 192.168.160.0 - 192.168.160.255
VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet1 192.168.87.0 - 192.168.87.255
VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet8 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.100

This is obviously not the way I had set up the new zone.  The IP addresses show incorrect assignments.

In addition, I could not find a way to Delete a created zone.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,
We have a  bug there. When you add a zone and select that as a trusted zone, it may really not the one you selected.
Within this month we are going to come up with a fix that you can avail through updater by that time you can add a network rule definining those ranges.

We don't have editing of added zones functionality at the moment, but it is in our tasks list and will soon be having section where you can edit the zones.

I hope this helps.

Until the bug is fixed, you can always go to :

Security->Network Monitor section and modify the ip address information of the created network rules manually.

Because when you add a trusted zone, it creates 2 network rules for you.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks - I hadn't discovered that page when I sent my original post.  I've now set up everything the way I want and CPF is working fine   Smiley
