I'm french and a new user of Comodo. I've a problem when installing Comodo.
During the installation I receive an error message : "PROBLEM WITH DELETING WITH SHORTCUTS. PLEASE KINDLY DELETE THE SHORTCUT MANUALLY". I've tried to uninstall and reinstall but I've the same problem.
I use Kaspersky Security Suite but I've stop the Firewall module during the installation of comodo.

Might be worth trying to install whilst in safe mode.

More info on that error message: http://forums.comodo.com/help/installation_problem_problem_with_dealing_with_shortcuts-t3519.0.html;msg27339#msg27339

It was previously suspected that the error is also due to installing on a different drive path than the default one.

Comodo's Firewall and AntiVirus are not compatible with Windows 98. They are compatible with Windows 2000 and XP. Version3 of the firewall will be vista compatible. The operating system requirements are fairly clearly laid out on the Comodo web site.

Ewen :-)

Avoid Comodo ver 3 with Vista, it is impossilbe to remove it from vista!!!!

Having Comodo on my pc  i tried to use it on my old satellite with W98 I use travelling with gprs connection.
Unfortunately I cannot install Comodo because  it  gives me:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime  Error
Program:C\windows\desktop\cfp_setup..........exe
This application has requested  the runtime to  terminate it in an unusual way
Please contact the application support team for more information

I am using Windows ME, but get the same Visual C++ Runtime error when trying to install Comodo.     Sad

Do you mean Windows ME, as in Millennium Edition, based on Win98?  If so, please be aware that it is not a supported OS for the Comodo firewall(s).
