Ok guys...
I came back today and my computer had restarted because of a "serious Windows error" and so I checked the dump file. Alas, it was the inspect.sys file once again. I suppose I should look into a new network card I suppose...
Thanks!

Same problem guys.
Card is a Broadcom 440x 10/100 integrated - Latest Drivers available from Dell (4.25)
Dell Inspiron 6000d
Also in the system is a Intel a/b/g 2915 wireless.
I have not had any problems when this card is connected.
It usually takes almost a day for the BSOD to happen.
Another piece of information that MIGHT be of interest, I have enabled onboard processors for network cards through System Mechanic Pro 7. Never caused a problem when using Iolo Firewall (which I really didn't like, and have found Comodo to be much better), so I don't think that's a problem. Thought I'd mention it anyway.
Any ideas and/or know where I can get an updated driver (this one is a year old) that will work on this laptop?
Replacing the card really isn't an option.

Hi Guys,
While reporting BSODs please try to find and attach the memory dumps so that we can analyze and understand the cause of these events.
Thx,
Egemen

I just got this same BSOD when i woke up this morning. My machine has been downloading torrents over the night but luckily they were all downloaded before the BSOD occured. I see you recommend buying a new network card. What kinda of a solution is that
Of course my network works OK since it's only with Comodo that i got this BSOD. Before i had Sunbelt Kerio FW, ZA Free FW and also for a brief time Jetico FW. All worked like a charm, no BSOD's at all. I never ever had any problems with my network card. So changing it is out of the question. However i WILL be changing my FW(again!) which is a shame since i really liked Comodo.

Hi there,
I have had the same problem for a while. BSOD with CFP version 2.4.
I have windows XP SP2 installed on my new built system. I use cFos 7.04 (a traffic shaping program which optimizes my network status) as a PPPoE dial-up solution and I use NOD version 2.70.31 as my anti-viral program. In addition, I use BitComet 0.70 as my BT client.
While working together with my BT client, my computer turns out to have BSOD with the message of "driver irq not less or equal" and indicated "inspect.sys" to be the possible cause. I shift to the built-in PPPoE dial-up program by windows, however, the BSOD message continues.
I've ever used your product, Outpost, Sunbelt Kerio personal firewall and ZoneAlarm Pro7 as my firewall solution. Among them, Comodo firewall Pro remains to be my favorite.
I think this BSOD message may be related to your program and I hope you'd be able to work it out soon.
Here comes my minidump file, hope that'll help.

Hello Comodo people !
It's been awhile since i posted here about my problem but i would just like to let you know i haven't seen a BSOD caused by inspect.sys for a long time now. The reason for that is no doubt the fact that i upgraded my pc(new mobo, cpu etc.) and so i had to do a reinstall of windows as well. Comodo is working really great for me now, no problems at all ! The interesting thing about all this is that the guy that i sold my previous mobo to is also running Comodo and he says he hasn't had a single bsod so far. Well the main thing is that everything works as it should now and i am very happy about that !
Cheers !

Good to see that, Mikey.
I reinstalled XP for my brother's pc and he experienced the inspect.sys BSOD a few times...those were when he was ran uTorrent with lots of connections overnight. However, it may be coincidence, it may be magic - I don't know, but ever since I disabled Component Monitor no more BSOD. [v2.4] At least with v3 alpha, so far I don't recall seeing any reported BSOD's.

posted my Minidump files here
http://forums.comodo.com/help/bsods_please_add_your_minidump_files_here-t6747.0.html;msg74745#msg74745
i have been getting BSOD's. the blue screens shows something like "Driver IRQL not less or Equal" and it also mentions "Inspect.sys".
My Config
------------
Core 2 Duo E6300
Intel Original Motheboard DG965SS
SONY DVD RW AW-Q170A
512 * 2 DDR2 533 Mhz
Seagate ST3160811AS 160 GB SATA HDD
Intel 82566DC Gigabit Network Connection
Windows XP SP2
Comodo Firewall Pro 2.4.18.184
All are latest drivers from Intel website and all the latest windows updates.
BSOD has occurred about 5-6 times, all when utorrent is downloading with 700 connections. this started happening after i had formatted and reinstalled a different copy of XP SP2. it was perfectly ok with the earlier copy.
thanks,

Well, you can try the
3 alpha version
if you have a test computer because there hasn't been any inspect.sys BSODs that I know of it.

Normally i got arround 3 BSODs a day.
So the thing i've done is, that i deleted the inspect.sys from my system. The next system restart a new one was built automatically and since then i haven't got any BSOD. So maybe that is THE solution we are searching for, but there is no guaranty that it works for all.
So if anyone else can try it out too, it would be very helpful.
