CPU USAGE GOES TO 100% with new 2.4 [Resolved in version 3]

After some time on the internet the cpu usage is quite high when browsing sites with many things to load. Once again, Monitor DLL Injections is the cause even with 2.4. Turning it off solves the issue every time.

well, thanks a lot....
anyway you will be perhaps worried that Monitor DLL Injections is off in my settings,as i read it caused issues before.
so what can be the problem
am i alone with this ?(comodo and emule running the same time)
because i've found comodo to be the best since i've tried all the competition
and i dont ever want to go back with another (crappy)product
so please help!!!

Do you have the problem only when you are using Emule?

When I experienced the same thing, it ended up being a virus. After AVG found it and cleared it off the computer, CPU usage went back to normal.
What I am trying to determine now is the CPU usage when I am not using the computer. How does it get tracked, cause when I go back to the computer it seems to lag initially. Is this just the computer freeing up RAM and I have nothing to worry about or is there something else I can check?

well...yes and no.
let me explain ...i've tried to see whats going on...
so ive stopped used for today comodo. then decided to make it back to run:
-nothing to worry about ,launched emule...all right
i was happy...
then i 've opened comodo firewal window and went to activity/connection
then computer usage went to 100%
even with emule turned off, i could only get my machine to work with shutting comodo down...
thing is ,i've never ever had the slightest problem with previous versions...

I also have higher than normal cpu usage when the connection window is opened, but not near 100%. Maybe because right now I don't have thousands of connections opened.

I tried to go in to connection page to see if I got the same.
It went up to 1% for a second, and then went back to 0%...
I really don't know why you have this problem, because I've never had any CPU problems with this firewall.

Did you update from the previous version, or did you make a fresh install?

I've never had any CPU problems with this firewall.
Same here, everything is working just fine.
I did a fresh install.

I had the same problem and in my case it was caused by the network monitor blocking all incoming tcp/udp connections. the blocking wasn't directly causing it though. It was the constant creating of alert messages caused by a lot of incoming (in my case) bittorrent connections. so I allowed incoming tcp/udp to the port uTorrent uses for incoming connections to solve it.

You can't allow all incoming...
You are loosing most of your protection then...
You should only allow the port that your file sharing program use.
If you get a lot of ICMP messages, just create a rule just above the default block rule, that block all ICMP and do not check the "create an alert" box.
