I installed CAV last week and now my SpamPal antispam isn't working.  SpamPal, for those who don't know it, is an email proxy, so I'm assuming the virus scanning is pre-empting it.  Does anyone know of a way around this?

By the way I would be happy to switch to Comodo AntiSpam except for two things:
It doesn't run in the Launch Pad and it doesn't use Bayesian filtering.

Thanks

Hello DlBarron!

Try to disable the email scanning and try to use spampal, just to check if it is really him that are causing trouble?

Thanks for your time,

Yes, I already checked that by uninstalling CAV.  Without it SpamPal works, with it no dice.

You could always try Comodo Anti Spam. Wink

Seriously, you should send an email to support[ at ]comodo.com, along with screen shots of any error dialogues you get. Include any technical details you feel may help the support guys.

Hope this helps,
Ewen :-)

Why not add this to the antispam wishlist and Comodo may implement these ideas  Wink

I would have already switched to Comodo AntiSpam if it a) ran in the Launch Pad and b) didn't require "authentication"  and c) used baysian filtering.

Besides from what I've seen posted here CAV keeps CAS from working too.
