Hi

I've had CAV installed since 1st December and the scheduler set to scan once a week.
Up until a fortnight ago everything was working perfectly but since then the scheduled scan has never finished - always sticking on the same flile c:\recycler\s-1-5-21-339324062-838559434-551836470-1007\dc124. I can leave it running for 8 to 10 hours but when I check it's always stuck in the same place although it looks as if the programme is still working (it's not frozen and my PC still works fine)
I raised a support ticket but for some reason they refused to answer me and referred me to this forum.
Hope someone can help.

Many thanks

Mike

Hi gulch

Welcome to the Comodo Forums

The best thing would be to delete this file, it is in the recycler anyway.  If this doesn't work try putting it in the excluder in settings, HIPS application control, general.

Hi John

Thanks for your quick response.
I'll certainly give your suggestion a try and I'll post again if I run into any problems.

Many thanks

Hi John

I deleted the offending file and the scan completed in record time.
Many thanks for your help.
