It won't scan if i click on a desktop icon

Hi, Can anyone advise me on what to do, my Comodo antivirus has been installed, but on clicking on desktop icon, it won't work, so cannot scan my computer, hope you can help me.

Hi & welcome to the forum.
What happens if you use the tray icon instead?
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with your problem. Maybe a reinstall would work. Also, please remember this is still a beta version. CAVS 3 is expected to come this year (!), but yet no one know exactly when.
