I just downloaded Comodo as my USB thumbdrive has been found infected, and the current av does not work.

After complete install I cannot do a full scan. Click on full scan nothing seem to happen.

Any idea why?

I also download Microworld Antivirus (9.7.6) scanner, and they found Fujack This !

Is this the reason why cannot do fullscan?

Fujack this is a worm, I don't think it would be preventing you from scanning with Comodo Antivirus, that may be due to a corrupt install, it is difficult to say.

In either case, you need to remove the worm off of your PC if you haven't done so already, once finished, try downloading a new copy of Comodo antivirus and  re-installing it. Let's see if that will fix the issue.

Well first off, we need to get rid of the worm, and for us to do that, you will need to give me a little more information.

I need the following information:

1) Path of the infected file
2) Full virus name

Attach is the MWAV 9.7.6 scan results. I believe there is more as nearly all my USB drive is infected as soon as I put into a Kapersky AV installed PC

I see, you most certainly are infected. Will Kaspersky remove the worm for you? If it will I would recommend you quarantine it and see what the effects are, but because of the files it has already infected it may be possible to only get rid of it through reformatting the infected drive Sad

Try to quarantine it with Kaspersky, if that doesn't work then I will try to find another removal method.

Thanks for the tip, use Kapersky to remove the worm and many others as well on my PC and laptops.

To be safe I simply buy Kapersky

That is probably the best idea at this time since Comodo Antivirus is still a beta. Kaspersky is a very good antivirus program and it is definitely a good choice at this time. Anyways, I'm glad to hear you were able to remove the worm and the other infections on your PC Smiley
