email message warning

when i read my emails there is no warning under the text no virus not by out or in.
I used first avg or avast and both write under de email no virus detekted and the date.
Are my emailes protected?

yes, the emails are scanned when they are written (downloaded) to your harddrive. CAVS currently doesn't have the feature to add those "Clean" messages to emails, but i think it's on the wishlist.

AFAIK the current version will not scan natively emails contents but its realtime scanner will scan attachments if the user attempts to open or save them.
