I'm using CPF3 With Defense+ / CAVS Beta 2 at the moment (Waiting on Avast next release or CIS whichever comes first or until CIS comes out) CBoClean and CMF.

The exact elaboration on CIS is not yet known, even to us mods. Probably CPF / CMF / CAVS... An Internet Security solution so it's bound to grow and grow.

Hi! Hug

I am new to comodo and to using free AV/FW etc.. I have a lot of other AV licences(norton, kaspersky, nod32,zonealarm, panda) but i thought maybe i should try something else. I i am kind of a paranoid, thats why i have all these different programs. Non of them have giving me peace of mind as ultrasecure. So now i am trying comodo.

I have vista 32bit, comodo AV 1.0.0.30, Cfp 3.0.22 and Ivault 3.0.
(is it strange that i could install AV version1 and not version2 beta?)

How is this AV version 1 compared to version 2 beta? And how is it compared to nod32, kaspersky etc. I am asking because i cant find so much info about version 1 on the internet. How much can it detect, how much can it remove etc..
I am secure from trojans, vorms, spyware?

I understand that the firewall is very good, but i am not sure about the other things.

(Please look away from my bad english. I am from the the cold north Smiler)

Comodo Antivirus/Spyware Beta 2.xx has been out for some time now. The last known detection rate according to some tests was around 75%. A new Completely improved CAVS 3 is due to come out in Beta before an estimated public release at the end of June.  I currently use CAVS in conjunction with Comodo BoClean and Comodo Memory Firewall  and CPFirewall 3. Hopefully the CAVS release will happen at some point later this month.

We're all on tender hooks.

So if i understand you right it is not 100% ok to use comodo AV version 1? Maybe i should try Avast until version2 is ready from comodo.  This BO.. Is it worth trying? Can it scan or is it just blocking new spyware from entering?

CAVS 2 is certainly better than 1.

Yes, BoClean is certainly worth trying. Read here: http://www.comodo.com/boclean/boclean.html
