Hi,

Is there a way to check virus files in quarantine so that we can check and see if Comodo Antivirus can still detect it (in the case that it is a false positive)?

Thanks,

Justin

Just thinking out loud here, Justin, but if you restore the file, the on access scanner should scan them as they are re-written back to the drive, shouldn't it?

Hi,

You would think that but my thought was that there could be risks with that. Such as what if it doesn't scan it right when restored. It also says in Quarantine that if I restore it and it is a virus that it could cause further infection.

I restored 3 files that were found on June 7, 2006 and I got no message of a virus, but it isn't assuring me that they were scanned.

Can you do a right-click scan on those files? Or use something like Panda's online scanning or Trend Micro's House Call?

Cheers,
