anti virus on access scanner disabled and failed to start error cav003

i got a new pc yesterday and its vista i have downloaded all of the comodo software and i am now having problems with the anti virus on access scan is disabled and is failing to run and i have this error cav003 and when i try to do a full scan i get this message error engine initialization failed please help i am about to drop kick my pc out the window

cheers i have downloaded avast for now and hopefully they will sort the problem out with it soon

Same problem here.
I have got Windows Vista Home Premium service pack 1, 32 bits.
Does anyone know what's causing it? Firewall,..?

Using an Alternative AV besides CAVS 2 is highly recommended.
