I could not see anything wrong. You can select skip parent check option for svchost.exe to see if it solves the problem.

This indeed solves my problems, but what about security? Does this setting impose any threat??

Hi,

I think you should try to make sure your computer is not infected with a hidden rootkit or trojan. There are some free rootkit scanners you could try that will scan your computer for hidden processes and files:

http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/
http://www.sophos.com/products/free-tools/sophos-anti-rootkit.html
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/RootkitRevealer.html

Any hidden processes, files or registry settings might be telltale signs of a rootkit. But keep in mind that these could also be part of a harmless application installed on your system, so you should consider carefully any findings before taking any action.

I have tried two of them and have so before CPF. But interpreting the results is very difficult. I realy can't tell if there is anything present that shouldn't be. I regular use all kinds of different spyware/adware malware anti-virus programs.
