Show Files and Synchronization Doesn't work

I'm trying to backup my music folder(8000+ files directory structured) to network drive using sync, when I click "Show Files", it crashed -

Second, the synchronization doesn't work at all. It doesn't start sync regardless how I make changes to the folder, it just won't start at all. There's no manual button to start sync, so I assumed Backup's sync method doesn't work in Vista x64.
