I had a working Hamachi VPN using ZoneAlarm (free version), but after I removed ZA and installed CPF 2.2.0.11 Hamachi no longer works even after I exit from CPF.  Known issue?

This is on WinXP SP2 running McAfee corporate 8.0.0

ZA and CPF can not work together. After uninstalling ZA, there should be no issue caused by CPF.

I believe it's not about ZA versus CPF, Egemen.
Hamachi is a game tools. It allows one to play an online multiplayer game via LAN-layer kinda thing.
Hamachi will emulate the LAN condition so Hamachi's user can play with their friend from the Net as if it's a LAN connection, without even bother seting up a server for it.
Hamachi even use it's own driver. So Hamachi's user will have additional LAN connection, thus how they make the emulating process.

More about Hamachi can be found here: http://www.hamachi.cc/
Another software that do just about the same thing Hamachi does (GG Client - quiet popular among the profesional gamers community): http://www.gg-game.com/

I'm having the same problem, although if I set Comodo to allow all, I can connect.

What version of Hamachi are you running? I am running the latest version of Hamachi (beta) yet I aren't having any problems. :Smiley

RTFP Egemen, I *_DID_* uninstall ZA first.  CPF killed Hamachi.

Hamachi working fine on my system along with CPF.

In addition to the Hamachi Application Control Rules, do you also have the following 2 rules in Network Monitor? :

Permission: Allow OUT
From IP: ANY
To IP: ZONE:[Hamachi Network Interface] - 5.0.0.0/5.255.255.255
IPPROTO: ANY

Permission: Allow IN
From IP: ZONE:[Hamachi Network Interface] - 5.0.0.0/5.255.255.255
To IP: ANY
IPPROTO: ANY

On my system (XP Pro SP2), Hamachi is considered both an application and a pseudo-network device ...hence the ZONE rules in Network Monitor. Other than that, I can't think of any other reason why Hamachi would be blocked by CPF.

I tried everything and still can't get it to work. The minute I exit Comodo everything is ok.
I am using the latest version for every application. Not sure what to do.

Thanks for the help!

Peace out!

First thanks for the post, I never heard of this program.  Very Cool.

Second, I installed the lastest version, CPF asked  and I allowed and then setup the above Network Monitor rules and everything is running fine here.
