I just installed and setup Comodo backup and on running my frist backup I got the following error:

"Error - Backup...completed with error"

Every time I try to backup, it successfully compares about 5000 files, 1000 folders, and copies about 1000 files, but for some reason it always give me an error message.  When I check the backup zip, it is in an unrecognizable format so I don't know if it actually backed up my files.

I am running v. 1.0.4.337 on a machine running XP SP2.

Any thoughts?

Hi sixpoints

Welcome to the Comodo forums

Can you check your log at Program files (or wherever you keep it) -> Comodo -> backup -> CmdBkpSvc.log and see what it is you have not backed up.  It could be a locked Windows file or folder such as "System Volume Information".  If so Backup will not back it up and you will have to exclude it from your backup.

Let us know if this helps
