[RESOLVED]firefox try to modify protected registry key after closed

from one month ago, right after I closed firefox , the firefox would try to modify protected registry key. this happened very often. why? whether my pc have been invaded.? can I allow these modification?

Try finding Firefox in D+, advanced, computer security policies, click on Firefox, edit, click access rights.   On my system, Firefox is set to allow everything but "run executables" (set to ask) including protected registry entries.

this is normal D+ event firefox is a safe application and you can allow this.

From these alerts, Firefox is trying to add an entry to the Events Log in Widnows. Have you had a look at your logs?

To see the Event viewer, click START - SETTINGS - CONTROL PANEL - ADMINSTRATIVE TASKS - EVENT VIEWER

Yes Firefox adds that it successfully started to the event log it is safe to allow this

so I can safely allow these alerts.

My PC have some strange problem, so I'm very sensitive about the alert, and I don't realy know how to action.

I never allow remote access, but I found something in the eventview.


After all, very thankful for all you help.
