I can't reinstall ctm because of the "must restart"-message.

The new beta-release has solved the problem: just uninstall the old version and use the beta.

If you're having difficulty "Uninstalling" CTM, this is not the tool for you !

SO what IS the tool?????  Why say such a nasty thing and then not offer any other suggestions????

I needed to say this "nasty thing" because problems on installation and on uninstallation are two very different things. This tool is only used when people have installation problems.

Also, I urge you not to be "nasty" to yourself by just reading and not thinking (and also not to read selectively; read Post#125 which I stated my personal experience, I had this same problem when I first installed CTM, but I'd never used this tool).  

(On a side note: Flykite may consider giving a direct download link of this tool to those who might need it)

Sorry, guys. I might have got this problem mixed up with the issue I had when I first installed CTM two years ago. The issue I had was " CTM unable to initiate installation", which was resolved by what I did as mentioned on Post#125; so I've not encountered this "must restart" problem at all !

I just found another Solution/Workaround for this Problem.

In my case I just wrote a new MBR and the installation worked.

Maybe you need to just forget about CTM for the present time as it is highly unstable at the moment and you should wait for a tested and stable release.
