This problem of " Unable to install CTM " is mainly due to registry remnants left from " incompatible software " which are detected by CTM's pre-installation scan, so folks who don't find this Fix-tool readily available may use Registry cleaning tools like WinASO, ASC, 360Amigo etc to clean up the registry and try installing CTM again !

If you want to avoid troubles don't uninstall CTM with:
. Revo Free
. Revo Pro
. IObit Uninstaller
. Comodo Programs Manager
. Your Uninstaller
. Smart Uninstaller
All these app. can't do a good work when the app. needs to reboot to do their uninstall.
Better is to use CTM uninstaller!

Trying to install timemachine on win 7 64bit (beta version 2.9) Getting the same error after each install, repair .... You must restart your PC to finish installation...

Sure. Not these 3rd parties do a good job if the own uninstaller requires a reboot to finish the job. They do not work well with antivirus and firewalls. Even less with CTM...
