After using the tool you can try again.
Better is version 2.9 than 2.8.

I was not provided with the removal tool. Could someone please send it to grimreaper1014[at]live.com? I have tried to install 2.9 on a fresh install as well. After restarting the computer all I had was a Comodo folder with a Time Machine folder with nothing in it. There was a shortcut to Time Machine on the desktop for a brief second which diseapered. I am using Windows XP SP3. I don't understand what is causing this to happen. I would like to try again but if I remember correctly 2.9 disables system restore. I would definatly need the removal tool because I would be stuck not being able to remove it. Plus I wouldn't be able to use a restore point.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. After a recovery from a system error I had to uninstall CTM and when I tried to reinstall I'm getting the "You must restart your PC to finish installation" error. I'm running vista32 with version 2.8.155286.178 of CTM. Can someone email whatever tool I need to jaerym[at]hotmail.com? Thanx!

No response? Please help! This is getting very annoying. I like comodo products, but not so much if I can't remove it. Please tell me what I need to do to get CTM fixed! My email is: jaerym[at]hotmail.com

Thanks

I am currently having the same problem.  Could somebody send the tool to tallin [at] gmail [dot] com?  I am trying to reinstall CTM for testing on a laptop reserved for patron's at a library.

Thank you!
