my dam dell vista computer won't start after i installed a number of comodo products. First I installed the firewall and antivirus which worked fine, did the system restart too and everything was fine. But then i installed the other products such as the cleaner the encyption product too the website validation just to try all these products out. So the computer asked me to restart the computer so the other install's can take effect. So when i went to restart the computer it doesnt start now? it gets as far as the windows dell load screen and then restarts after getting that far by itself and keeps going in cycles like that, HELP

i cant even get to safe mode or anything. I can only get to setup which is the f2 button in vista and f12 the boot menu. Windows is saying IT is preventing start up because there could be damage to the syatem if it starts up? it says the problem is, is     UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

its saying to delete any new software or hardware that was recently installed which is funny when it won't even allow me inside my own dam computer. I am so sick of all these safty precautions that come with vista that it wont even allow you to enjoy your own dam computer. I see why apple keeps talking garbage about it

This seems the type of problem that is related to hard disk and programs interacting with hd. So I take the chance moving it to the Disk Encryption board.

If you have a installation DVD of Vista,or can borrow one (all versions of Vista are on the DVD so any Vista installation DVD will work), you can boot from it and choose to repair instead of installing Vista. One of the things to try is to run chkdsk /f from the command prompt. Or try system restore.

Which version of Comodo System Cleaner do you use? The latest stable or the 2 beta?

That is the latest stable version.

I will move this topic once again and will move it to the System Cleaner board.

Could be Hardware; PSU or something...

What happens when you switch it on?

When the command prompt opens, change to the C: drive (assuming that is your root drive) by typing cd C:\ after the prompt. Then at the C:\ prompt type: cd Program Files\Comodo\Comodo System Cleaner. Now that you have changed to the CSC directory, just type csc.exe after the prompt and the Comodo System Cleaner program will start up.

Can you boot from CD/DVD without any problems? If so, your Hardware may be fine.

I would Restore an Image of your HDD if the Hardware's fine... You do 'Backup', right?  ;D

If not, this may help you in the future once everything is working again...
