After updating to the latest version, I notice that once a day CSC is wanting to check for an update. In the latest version I don't see anyway to disable this. Is it possible? Reg entry, ini file maybe?

Without asking you, CSC made a job in your Task Scheduler. Open your Task Scheduler and delete the job.

In all fairness, CSC should inform the user that the job is created or should ask you if you want it created.  Undecided  To manually run the updater in the future, you will need to create a shortcut to UpdateApplications.exe in the CSC program directory.
