I want to perform a full registry backup of my Windows 7 machine. I have selected "Registry Files" on the backup source and have selected all of the files available. Is this going to do what I need? If I were to restore these files, would my computer work? I have played with the registry on many occasions before and am somewhat familiar with how it works, and how temperamental it is. Any information on this topic would help.
