Guys, just for your information, files and folders in Local Settings doesn't count towards the profile size.

I mean what I said. The size of the folder Local Settings doesn't count towards the size of your profile. Maybe this picture will explain it better.

As you can see, I've marked everything except for the folder Local Settings.

I think my profile for System is the smallest.. Unless someone can get their profile to use a negative storage space. Tongue

Ok then no more OpenOffice of any program with the word Office in it Grin.  Try to get portable versions of your programs.  Never save anything on the desktop aside from temporary purposes or shortcuts.  Don't save anything in your Documents folder.  Sometimes re-creating the C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\IconCache.db could help (delete it and reboot).

+1 on Soya's tips. OpenOffice.org though, adds less only a few hundreds of KB. Thumb Up

Okay.

I got rid of OpenOffice since I don't use the other stuff, And I am now using AbiWord. I also replaced iTunes with Foobar2000. Both programs are small download & install size. And I only needed 2 small plugins to get the Ipod plugin with Foobar.

I love it so far! Very happy indeed. No more iTune services (Even though I could disable them!) But even then, If I connected my Ipod to my laptop the ipod service would start, Not with Foobar.  Bounce

Pretty sweet. Thanks for the Advice Soya.

No need to get rid of OOo. Roll Eyes

I'll install it when 3.0 portable arrives, and I'm telling you, my profile will still be smaller than Soya's. Bounce
