Apple follows Microsoft’s Internet Explorer with 81.36 percent market share and Mozilla/Firefox with 14.67 percent market share. Behind Apple in fourth place is Opera (0.55 percent), Google Chrome (0.55 percent) and Netscape (0.32 percent).

Looks like Opera is really rockin the free world cough cough. Tongue

these numbers are changing all the time, not according to a period, but to sources  Wink Last time I read a chard it said Firefox had a 20% marketshare worldwide; and somewhere between 30 and 40% in Europe. You all know that, the majority still uses IE not because they prefer it but because it comes preinstalled with Windows.

Well, for me, i prefer Opera because of the faster startup and it loads pages slightly faster, and that Back Button is fast cause of cached (i think) "stuff"

I have Firefox, but i overloaded it with add-ons, so it is slower, i still use Firefox, but Opera is my official (primary Web Browser. Opera for the win mahns (man with french-like accent)!

Some news about Opera 10 from Opera Blog  Thumb Up

Quote
We know that you have been waiting to get your hands on Opera 10 (Peregrine), and I am happy to announce that we are planning to release the first alpha of Opera 10 in the near future. The new version is the result of hard work that has been going on since even before 9.5 was released, and we are finally ready to let it spread its wings and fly out into the real world.

Opera 10 will feature the new Presto 2.2 engine (Opera 9.x runs on Presto 2.1.x), and one of the main purposes of the first alpha is to get some real-world testing, so that even more bugs can be fixed. A huge number of bugs have been fixed already since Presto 2.1, and there are a lot of new things in here, including improved performance and standards compliance. We hope, no, we know that you will help us find even more bugs and areas of improvement.

In addition to an updated engine with new features of its own, we have worked hard on adding a few user-related features that we have noticed are frequently requested by the community. I think a lot of people will be pleased with these additions.

Opera 10 is finally coming, and you can expect improved performance as well as features that we know that a lot of people in the community have requested.

Tune in next week for more details.

Soo... basically Orca Browser is Firefox 3.0?...
I’m sure that FF is better.

Why choose Orca Browser?

Orca Browser is an extremely fast and user friendly web browser, designed to add more functions on to the latest version of Firefox.

Even if OB is faster then FF 3.0 I’m sure that new FF3.1 will be better but I don’t really care anyway because I never really liked FF I’m Opera user waiting for Opera 10 and if Chrome will go final then maybe I change default browser to Chrome if its better then Opera 10. I know that WebKit engine is very fast and good. But I will try this browser too… there are too many browsers …

Thanks

What's not to like, enhanced Gecko search engine, its' very own built-in download manager and trust me it's also extremely fast (connection speed considered) Online storage, Firefox extension & add on compatibility and so forth...
Xman Thumb Up

I installed Orca Browser.
1st thing what I noticed is the Online Storage feature just like in Opera and I like this feature!
2nd GUI looks like Safari GUI, Orca Browser has many features... I will test it tomorrow more
So far it’s good...
