Greetings all,
Now there's a music, jokes, photo, philosophy, movie and poetry topic, so here comes mine, the GAME topic!

My favourite game is a fantastic game from 1997, Final Fantasy VII. Graphic might be crap compared to todays games, but it's not the graphic that makes the game. Final Fantasy VII has many mysteries, every character has its own story and background. Yet after playing it a hundred times, you still can't be sure about everything.

Cheers,
Ragwing

It's difficult for me to choose the top (like asking me my most fav song - never a definite answer), but don't say the graphics are crap (I haven't played games nowadays so can't comment on that).  I remember when the promo disc came out for FF7 and they were ground-breaking!  It's not my fav FF, but I think I've spent the most time playing it.  If had to choose of the FF's, it would be FFX even though I've only played in 3 days.

I said compared to todays games, but it was awesome when it came out, but that's 10 years ago, tho I think you have to compare the graphic to what they were able to do back then, as you can't compare, for example, Super Mario Bros.(NES) with some new PS3/XBOX 360 game.

Cheers,

It can be hard to know what the era of x game is like, especially when dealing with youngsters who didn't grow up during that era.  For example, during the golden SNES rpg times, Chrono Trigger was my fav.

*TEKKEN Series
*The King of Fighters Series
*Street Fighter Series
*Suikoden I & II
*Final Fantasy Tactics (PSOne)
*Breath of Fire Series
*Zelda Series
*Castlevania Series (especially Symphony of the night)
*Warcraft Series
*Starcraft Series
*Diablo Series
*Caesar III
*World of Warcraft
*Final Fantasy Series (XII is the easiest & simplest FF/RPG ever made!!)
*Need for Speed Series
*Romance of The Three Kingdoms Series (especially #3)
*Chrono Trigger

...and lots more...

But mostly, I've spent my day with Warcraft III & TEKKEN 3 or 5.
...beating a virtual character to death with Jin Kazama, can be a stress release for me...

If had to choose of the FF's, it would be FFX even though I've only played in 3 days.
You should try FF-XII.
The graphics is just AMAZING (yes, with capital letters), and the gameplay is quite fun while the stories is not bad either.
