There are free operating systems called Linux.  Google it.

i still need to use windows. the site is not about getting free OS. but about having XP without wasting more money. i wanna bookmark the page, and perhaps download all the freewares listed there.and give 'em to my friends. you know, show 'em that their comp can survive without cracked software

As a matter of fact your computer's life expectancy will RISE a great deal if you stay away from cracks. LOL

the author/whoever wrote the "tutorial" not just give the download link to freeware. he describes in detail about  his choice of alternative freewares.

I thought that was a version that you customized and released: Comodo Firewall Ganda v2.64.355.443

yeah, it was a failed product  blocks anything & everything.the most secured firewall. why nobody get the idea of isolation?
