Actually I am pretty confident that I can fix it, but DARTH VADER has a mother who is afraid of evrything.... She thinks she knows evrything better and that she can fix things I can't! BUT actually she is not technical at all!! She doesn't know anything about computers and stuff! She drives me nutts!!!
But hey, DARTH VADER can handle it...
by the ways... does anyone recognizes a mother like mine???

The new cable did not help me... I must buy a new power supply unit I guess... It cost around 50 dollars I think.. I saw it in a store today. .... But some power supply units are difficult to remove, the srews are hidden, or can only be reached if other things are being removed... It is driving me nutts!!! Some corners are somehow impossible to reach, unless you gor some kind of gelly hand....

Sorry. I missed out the "cable" word and thought you got a new power supply already. You may have to nudge some other cables out of the way to see clearer.
Another thing: sometimes the easiest solution is the correct one. Maybe your voltage red switch at the back was accidentally changed needs to be corrected?

Yes you are right! I will buy a new one for 50 bucks... and my pc should be running fine again!!! I just hope my MOBO isn't fried.... but anyways it is hard to remove the PSU on some machines and I think my machine is such a kind...
Maybe I will take it too a techie store or something...
Anyways.. I will post if it is solved or not...

well I bought a new power supply unit and I let it be installed by a tech store for almost 60 dollars... the salesman told me that the this new power supply unit produces less noise... Ok, that is good for me... The pc works now, but I think the pc is making more noise now! I just get the feeling the fans keep working and when I get my hand near the power supply unit I sure feel some wind, so the fans keep rolling the whole day.... I do not know if this is a good sign or not, but my old power supply unit did make some noise at booting the machine and then slowly produced very few noise and that is the way I think it should go...
My old power supply unit had around 300 watts, this one has about 500 watts I don't know if this has anything to do with the fans that keep working.... even when the central processing unit uses 0% of its power...
