Years later I had another Aston, like the James Bond car.

They have always been my favourites.

When I had the old one it was 36 years old and equipped for use on the road, mind you the accelerator was in the middle and the footbrake only worked on the front wheels.   I used to get stopped by the police when they saw me using the handbrake to stop it, that worked on all four, so was more effective.

The DB5 cost me £1000 in 1972 and I made a profit on it.

hahah Laugh that had to be funny to see:

You and your friend sitting in the car you are driving it.....than the police is chasing you....your friend panics....you say the breaks are not working... your friend screams to death...than you say I just use the hand breaks... and your friend is almost fading....you use the hand brake and the car stops very nicely like using the normal breaks... and your friend says:"You have a damn nice care here!"....

haha Laugh anyway very nice to hear you made profit on the car, this means people really love the car and want to spend money on it..

Ah but no, it was a policeman who insisted on sitting in the passenger seat to see if it stopped.

He hit his head hard on the screen when I braked and went off looking foolish.

My vote here was for Bugatti, the Type 37A I always wanted and will never now have.

I'm going to save for a Jaguar X300, more known as the XJ6 or XJ12 from 1995-1997 (although I think XJ12 wasn't made during 1997). The finest of British luxury, except Rolls & Bentley of course but they're way too expensive. You'll get a decent XJ6 for $10,000. Angel
