Avast Today Update Detected A lot of program as Win32:Delf-MZG [Trj]

Hope its the correct forum

just a notification if you update avast today and avast report a lot of your common programs as Win32:Delf-MZG [Trj] you shouldn't be alarmed as is probably a false positive

as avast detect skype, spybot, kmplayer, adobe, and a many many of common program as Win32:Delf-MZG [Trj]

it happens after vps update 12/03/2009 091203-0

hopefully avast will push update faster to correct this problem

meanwhile it seem avast forum is crawling off and on

and i have tried to scan the file online on virustotal and jotti and the file avast detected as Win32:Delf-MZG [Trj] the result is

Current status:
Result: 2/41 (4.88%)

with only avast and gdata detect as Win32:Delf-MZG (Gdata is using avast engine)

And from what i can tell, the avast forum is down right now.

The 091203-1 update seems to fix the problems. And I have no problem to reach the Avast! forum

yup confirmed the 091203-1 vps update fixed the issue. but avast forum is still on and off probably due to many people are accessing it, spybot site also down earlier. but its up and running now

what a bad move from avast. why they not test the update first before pushing it out

The 091203-1 update seems to fix the problems. And I have no problem to reach the Avast! forum
