BTW, I was informed by the owner of a website that also uses Google Analytics that:
"Maybe it varies from country to country because of privacy laws, but when Google started doing this sharing of data, they asked me to confirm my permission to do so. I believe that it should not be up to me to give permission on behalf of all site visitors so I said no, and continue saying no every time they ask"
