GERMANY is now UNWILLINGLY GOING PORN. EVERY CITIZEN may have the "luck" of being filmed, even in his sleeping room.
Do YOU support it?

Seems GEORGE ORWELL was right.

MELIH? Any suggestions? Emigrate?

Ouch, that's a lot of f-words in so few posts...
Oh well, since I don't find this post violating (too much) of the forum policy, except for the language, so I don't see a reason to remove it, as long as it doesn't go too far (flaming eachother...). Also, I myself find this to be an very important topic to discuss.

Sadly, the articles are in german, so as I only know Swedish, English (and some Spanish), I don't understand much of it, but from your post, it seems like they're going to monitor people in their homes?
I thought that ISP espionage was bad, but this is way much worse. It reminds me of the movie Das Leben der Anderen (The Lives of Others), where Stasi monitor an apartment by microphones, but this is even worse, going over to the big brother-concept (the dictator in 1984 is called Big Brother...), with everyone being monitored by camers, even in their homes.
Oh well, I'll wait with my comments until I know for real what this is about.

Cheers,
Ragwing

Given Germany's predilection for blindly supporting dictatorship in the first half of the 20th century, I am hardly surprised that the specter of Orwell's Big Brother would rear its ugly head in that country in the form of intrusive civilian monitoring.

Oh by the way, MorphOS. Will they spy on people that they suspect are terrorists, or are they going to do some random spionage? I hope you don't mean they'll spy on all the citizens of German...

Cheers,

I am sorry, did my last post kill this thread?

Or maybe I just turned it into nitroglycerin....
