Nothing like an emulator to bring back memories. The only problem is how many to have: NES/SNES/Sega/PS1/PS2.....where does it stop? Shocked

Yeah, I only have NES & SNES. I didn't put Sega on here coz there is a lot of overlap in the titles between it and SNES, I am missing some "Sega only" titles that were good though. To me SNES was the best (relative to time) console ever.

It also makes you realise how bad graphics were on those games. And i remember when they were first released you would look at them and be like "Christ these graphics are amazing!!" lol

Ha ha, you're right! Cheesy It also makes you realize how good the gameplay and storylines were though. I think we've traded some of that for graphics these days. Roll Eyes

I still remember playing Gran Turismo on the PS1.

Now compare that to GT3 or GT5 (demo).

The worst are the old NCAA College Football games. Go back and look at the NCAA '99 game or thereabouts, the graphics look like Atari 2600 to me now. Cheesy

My first console was Playstation, back in 1997. So I don't really know much about older consoles. Undecided

I remember when Street Fighter II was the first fighting game I ever saw people play at the arcades.  It opened up a new genre..

I used to WEAR Street Fighter II Turbo OUT. That was a fun game, I always thought it was better than Mortal Kombat....a little blood would've been cool in SF though. Evil

I suppose this is as good a thread to vent my anger as any!

Stupid, stupid, stupid XBox`s.

Mines been getting a hammering lately with MW2 and i suddenly started getting the dreaded RROD  Evil

Now i used the guides on what to do to sort it, new arctic paste, better clamp, etc, but the thing still wouldn`t work!
Forget it i thought ,i can`t be arsed with it anymore so wen`t out and bought a new one. Gets home and thinks i`ll just put this old one back together so there`s not bits everywhere, anyway i plugged it in (just to see) and lo and behold the thing is now working  Angry

Stupid, stupid, stupid Xbox`s, they are the work of the  Evil

Back On Topic, i used to love Frogger......................... (the game you perve!)

Have you guys seen the blog on Cracked.com about "how not to deal with the red ring of death"? I was gonna post the link but it has some strong language and I didn't know how that would go over. Anyway, it's HILARIOUS. Grin
