Reminds me on a story about a radio station.

Label: You have to pay us money for being allowed to play our song.
Station: No, thats too much.
Label: But you have to pay!
Station: Hm, then we will not play your song anymore in the radio.
Label: Wait, you can not ban our song. Thats unfair! We will sue you!

There are simillar things around.
But one thing is for sure, never in history these companies made more money than now.

The people who make such suggestions might even know about the book 1984.

haha!  Cheesy Very True
& even more
In our (my former) country there is a saying, which basically applies to idiots who must understand something (otherwise they would not)... "the enema with gramophone needles"  has to be prescribed, but in most cases one session is not enough  Grin

Cheers!

That sounds a bit small.. I'm not sure they'd get the point*.

May I recommend something a little more substantial..

Well clockwork,
I am not sure they’ve ever read it despite
“1984” by George Orwell is one of those literature masterpieces that everyone must read

Have you ever seen gramophone needles?
Those should work fine and they can indeed fit into the enema

As a matter of fact …The image you posted is good, but it did not get into the forum somehow
I got that only when quoting your message

***Edited*** can see it now Smiley - new NoScript was playing games

Now that's a wonderful underpinning of the special relationship between the UK and US. They both are very fond of humongo government control over its citizens.  Never forget George Orwell was a Brit.

The USA likes to pose its self as the country of Freedom in its pure form. But it seems to have nasty undercurrents of corporate authoritarian/totalitarian reflexes that scare me as a Northwest European citizen.

In an odd way the tight connections in the USA between corporations and government seem to bear some resemblance between old school USSR ties between government and soviet corporations.... What's good for the company is good for the country and vice versa....  Lips Sealed Undecided

At !H. I don't speak Russian but that photo surely shows a proud enema or should I say phallus  giving whole new direction to this topic?  Cheesy

*What's good for «General Motors» is good for America*

By using a sneaky, unscheduled vote  Thumb Down Still, it has to get through the Senate and the Administration has said they'll veto the bill...

This is interesting.
