Here is a word of warning when copying the profile between two versions of Opera. The operaprefs.in, which holds your Preferences, is the only file with absolute paths. When copying that between versions of Opera you either need to edit, some of, the paths it holds or delete the operaprefs.ini (when Opera is not running (check with Task Manager)) and go through setting up your Preferences.

After installing a new snapshot I always close Opera, delete the operaprefs.ini and set my Preferences again. When doing a lot of updates of Opera the operaprefs.ini will get messed up and will cause all sort of vague and sometimes stability problems. Hence why I delete it each time I do another installation.

After deleting or renaming the operaprefs.ini when Opera is not running (check with Task Manager) Opera will recreate a new operaprefs.ini and Opera will be back to factory defaults; this is also known as profile reset.

From the change log:"CORE-44002 Improved performance of parallel downloads of script and images". Interesting, but does anybody know what the effect of this could be?

I haven't got a clue what that is. But it's been improved so that can only be a good thing.  Wink

That's what I am thinking too. I am curious to know how on how many sites it reflects (don't forget Opera QA has big database of data about sites called Mama), to test it on typical web sites where this really shines just to get a bit of a feel for it and how this may reflect in benchmarks.

I think 11.62 RC won't be far off.

I'm trying this build right now, as I can't update v12 1213 without it crashing on opening. So far, so good.
