but i do say that umm see windows fire wall is good at one lvl but not at all places , but its up to you i am just saying . hey if you have good net then see some youtube videos about firewalls hope that will lighten you !

and well i never trusted win filewall cuz once i got a dirty ransomware and i have to reinstall my whole window then, thank God dell have system factory image !

Just to be clear, Windows Firewall and any antivirus (without a HIPS or autosandboxing technology) cannot be guaranteed to protect your computer from malware. Every antivirus will twist their words to make it sound like they will, but they cannot.

from my experience cav is what causes the slow down so i just run the firewall and defense +.

weird formy experience  cis wont did a little bit slow down on my system but kaspersky does .
umm or may be it OS version mine is Win 7 ultimate x64 !
