On one of our secure advanced training sites we had to revert back to IE, because website was broken after log in.
To Radaghast- Thanks for the info and link.
To mkA-  Welcome, I don't notice a great GUI difference personally if you don't put the Tabs on top. I agree performance appears better on average. Kind regards all.

For those interested 4.0.1 is available for testing (Codenamed Macaw) http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/4.0.1/whatsnew/ This is just a security and stability update and should be released on or around the 26th April.

If you've subscribed to the beta update channel, you should receive this via manual/auto-update.

Other than a few minor irritants with the right-click menu, Firefox 4.0.1 is working great for me.  (I'm used to having the "Open in new tab" option second or third in the right-click menu.)

Hi MegaDan5 and welcome. I haven't tried this myself, but if it is to annoying it may be worth trying this- http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/781537#answer-156549
Kind regards.

Hmmm... Didn't move for me?

Anyway, isn't it easier just to either Ctrl-Click or click the mouse scroll wheel?

I tried the solution in the link I posted and nothing changed for me either, unless I'm missing a step in it. Sorry to everyone that used up time trying it to find nothing happens.  embarassed

Sorry Captainsticks, I didn't mean that the solution you posted didn't do anything.  Embarrassed

I'm saying that my Open in a New Tab behavior hasn't changed from version 3.x to version 4.x.

If you want to edit any of the menus in fx you can use Menu Editor I've been using it for ages, as I can't stand all the clutter in the main context menu.

Likewise, if you don't feel the options in the appmenu button are to your liking, you can use Personal Menu to add and remove items and you can use Movable Firefox Button to place the button wherever you wish.

Firefox 5 is about to go in to beta, this should happen in the next day or so and you may be offered the download through the update channel.
