You mean to periodically animate a wallpaper that's rotating (counter)clockwise?  One way would be to edit it each a capture of a picture and then save it as a .gif, but that's tedious.

And uses a lot of CPU on a XP system.

CSS + Opera Content Blocker & Site Preferences (with the help of Firefox's Firebug add-on to find those pesky element names, which still took forever).  I can upload my custom css file if you're curious.  I expanded the table widths to 100% instead of the lousy default of 50% Tongue

Unfortunately, one the most challenging aspects of choosing the correct background image is due to factors such as the cut-offs.  See the difference between the two.  Since the font colours (particularly your fav red Tongue) are fixed, one must choose a background that's both light and doesn't have a pattern that varies too much.

How did you know I like red?  Tongue

Anyway, I happen to like how it all looks right now.  Smiley  Though what you have done looks quite cool.  Wink

Thumb Up Thumb Up Thumb Up  Tongue

I know mods/admins can change their own themes, if installed (at least on SMF 2), but can normal users?

I thought you'd never ask (so I can show off that I figured a way to override any website's font colours Tongue)

Well, there used to be a way but the admin disabled the ability to modify the forum theme to even mods due to a certain mishaps Shy Grin

I meant that the normal user can change their own theme (and only they see the change), not the default for all others.  Smiley

Sounds like that could be an interesting story.  Tongue

I know what you meant Cheesy.  There really used to that function for any body to change the forum theme for their own account view.

So what were the "mishaps" then if it was only on a personal basis? Smiley
