false positive on winedit ?
« on: May 26, 2009, 10:22:43 AM »

Hi,
While unzipping the Winedit s/w for a install I got a antivirus warning on one of the DLL's. Wondering if the event was caused by Winedit using banner ads until you pay. Of course I freaked and deleted everything so I don't have the specifics.

What antivirus are you using? Is this the website of winedit: http://www.winedt.com/ ?
