thanks for the clarification, one more question, is the remote access engine the same engine in both products.

Hi,

As I said in announcement, the remote desktop protocol is VNC based and it uses one of the best encoders: http://www.tightvnc.com/archive/compare.html

Hi,

This is a known issue in the Beta version and it will be definitely fixed in the final release.

imparatore:

The problem is triggered by the fact that the operating system (Windows) is installed on a different partition than C:\, in your case, E:\ .

Dolphin66:

Please make sure you have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) installed on your PC: http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/1/1/1116b75a-9ec3-481a-a3c8-1777b5381140/vcredist_x86.exe or that the installation isn't corrupted.

Thank you both for reporting this issue.

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for posting the above.

I've uninstalled and then re-installed the  Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) but am still getting the error / Installation failed, so looks like I will have to wait untill the next release :-(

If I can forward any other information to assist, please let me know.

Hi Adrian,

It's Windows 7 Home Premium - x86 ( 32bit ) Fully patched / updated, Local Admin account and UAC turned on. If you would like a full list of installed Programs, please let me know and I can provide a screen shot for you?

Hope this helps :-)

Hi Dolphin,

It would be helpful if you provided a screenshot or list of your installed Programs. Although the issue has been fixed, we need to make sure we cover all the possible scenarios. If you are willing to do this, please send me a private message with the screenshot attached.

Thank you.
