Do I need to uninstall my other security applications before installing CFP.
No, but any 'active' security applications, such as Anti Virus, Anti Spyware, HIPS etc. should be temporarily disabled, whilst you install CFP. They may be re-enabled after CFP has been successfully installed.
If you have a permanent connection to the Internet, it is advisable to temporarily disconnect, when performing the installation.
