I've tried a few searches on the forum, but could not see this being discussed anywhere.

In lieu of a CPF option to export it's rules, where can a user go to backup the rules manually?

Are the rules located in the data.edb file?

I am thinking of unistalling CPF 2.2.0.11 to try the next Beta CPF version coming out in a day or so (Beta 2.4?), and figured all my application rules would be lost doing so.  If I can save myself some time by manually backing up my rules, that would be great!

The rules are stored in the registry.
Run regedit and
go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Personal Firewall

If you want only the network rules you will find them at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Personal Firewall\NetCtrl

Hope it helps  Cheesy

Awesome!

Was I on the right track?  That uninstalling would remove these entries?
