I'm running WinXP Pro sp3 on a Thinkpad R61 with Comodo Firewall  3.9.95478.509.  Popupsyncid3 seems to need to be forced down at shutdown.  Anyone know what's going on?  Thanks.

Can you show us the Defense + logs of around the time you close you system? The logs can be found under Defense + --> Common Tasks --> View Defense + events.

The only log event is when I turned off the defense+ function:

cfp.exe                  changes defense+ mode            inactive

The shutdown problem has since disappeared.

What makes you think the close down problem with Popupsyncid3 is related to CIS.

To see if CIS play a role try diabling D+ permanently. Go to Defense + --> Advanced --> Computer Security Policy --> untick "Deactivate the Defense + permanently (requires a reboot)" and reboot as requested.

After rebooting see what happens at the next couple of reboots of your computer. Does the same thing happen?
