Icon has stopped flashing

Hi all. This sounds a silly question, but for some reason my Comodo tray icon has stopped flashing up the red/green ticks. Have checked everything I can think of, updates, etc, even run the diagnostic tool. Everything says it's working fine. Why, then has it stopped flashing? I used to find it comfortingly reassuring seeing it 'obviously doing something'. Is there something wrong that I don't know about?
Thanks for any help or assurance on this.

Hi Lyn Rushton,
please right click on the white CIS shield next to the clock on the bottom right and check to see if "Show tray animation" is still selected?
If not select it and the green/red indicators should return...
